(More customer reviews)This dress is, without a doubt, beautiful. However, it does not stand up to three hours of being gently worn. My mother-in-law sent two of these dresses, size 4, for my four-year-old twins. They wore them in their 5-point harness car seats, and I was careful to buckle around the dresses so as not to pull at them in any way. They sat in flat booster seats at the theater, and walked the five minutes to and from their seats. They each also used the bathroom once, with my holding the skirts up very gently. When we returned home, I discovered that both dresses had torn in precisely the same way. The silver underskirt of both dresses had frayed at the point at which they were stitch at the waistband, at the front. Both underskirts were hanging down below the top layer, and the dresses were no longer presentable.
These dresses are of unacceptable quality, especially given the price. Unfortunately, my daughters did not try the dresses on within 10 days of receipt, so we were unable to return them.
These dresses might be worth $5, for a photo, if you are willing to purchase a dress to be worn for an hour or less. Any more than that, and they just don't hold up.
